MY Bharat Organises Neighbourhood Youth Parliaments and Yuva Melas Across 1,469 Locations Under Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyan

MY Bharat, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, organized Neighbourhood Youth Parliaments and Yuva Melas across 1,469 locations in 34 States on October 10, 2026. Part of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Abhiyan under the 100 Weeks Campaign, the initiative engaged over 3.65 lakh youth and citizens. The block-level programmes aimed to raise awareness about substance abuse, encourage prevention, and foster grassroots youth leadership through activities like the Nasha Mukt Yuva Pledge, slogan-writing, debates, Nukkad Nataks, and signature campaigns. The events involved multi-stakeholder participation from spiritual, university, and industry associations, alongside public representatives.
