The initiatives encompass urban mobility expansions such as a new stretch of the Chennai Metro, port infrastructure upgrades including the transformation of Thoothukudi's VOC Port into a World-Class Mega Container and Green Energy Hub, industrial manufacturing enhancements, and marine economy supports through schemes like the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana. The Prime Minister highlighted the integration of cultural heritage with modern holistic infrastructure, cooperative federalism, and the promotion of domestic manufacturing under national initiatives.
