English rendering of PM’s address during the launch of development projects in Chennai

The Prime Minister addressed a public event in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, marking the launch and inauguration of various development projects worth ₹13,000 crore aimed at improving daily travel, industry, trade, and employment. The address highlighted infrastructure growth, including the expansion of the Chennai Metro, development of the VOC Port at Thoothukudi into a mega container and green energy hub, and public health research at the Brain Research Centre, IIT Madras. Additionally, the Prime Minister noted achievements in national manufacturing, such as growth in mobile, electronics, defence, and engineering exports, alongside government welfare and infrastructure initiatives for the fisheries sector including the PM Matsya Sampada Yojana.
