Uttarakhand Delegation Interacts with Governor of West Bengal, Shri R. N. Ravi, during Yuva Sangam Phase VII Visit

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, is implementing Yuva Sangam Phase VII under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme to foster national integration and people-to-people connections among youth from paired States and Union Territories. As part of this phase, a delegation from Uttarakhand, with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University as its nodal institute and hosted by IIT Kharagpur, visited West Bengal from October 7, 2026. The delegates interacted with Governor R. N. Ravi on October 8, 2026, and explored cultural and historical landmarks in Kolkata such as Prinsep Ghat and Sundervan on October 9, 2026, experiencing the state's cultural heritage and educational landscape.
