Telangana Delegation Explores Assam’s Rich Cultural Heritage and Traditions Under Yuva Sangam Phase VII

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has organised the Yuva Sangam Phase VII programme under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. A Telangana delegation, led by the Central University of Karnataka, arrived in Guwahati on October 4, 2026, and was welcomed by IIT Guwahati. During their visit, the young delegates participated in a yoga session and interacted with the Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, on October 5, 2026. The programme aims to strengthen cultural and emotional bonds, promote national integration, and enable youth to explore the heritage, traditions, and developmental achievements of paired states and union territories.
