Defence Secretary to Visit Cyprus and Greece from 12-15 October 2026

Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Cyprus and Greece from October 12 to 15, 2026. Maritime security and defence industrial cooperation will be prominent themes during the discussions. The visit follows previous high-level engagements, including the President of Cyprus's visit to India in May 2026 and the Greek Minister of National Defence's visit in February 2026. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral defence and strategic cooperation, particularly with European Union partners, following the signing of the India-EU Security and Defence Partnership.
