Vice-President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Addresses Second Convocation of AIIMS Deoghar

The Vice-President of India addressed the Second Convocation of AIIMS Deoghar in Jharkhand, highlighting the institution's role in advancing medical education and healthcare access for tribal and rural communities in the Santhal Pargana region. During the address, the Vice-President noted the expansion of medical colleges nationwide from 387 before 2014 to 846, and emphasized that inclusive healthcare and higher education are vital for achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047. He also highlighted women's participation among the graduating students, community outreach initiatives by AIIMS Deoghar, and the application of technologies like telemedicine and artificial intelligence in remote healthcare.
