MPA, Stella Mary’s College Sign MoU for Industry-Academia Collaboration

The Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) and Stella Mary’s College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 7 to foster industry-academia collaboration. The partnership marks MPA's first collaboration with an educational institution and aims to encourage knowledge-sharing and cooperation through the college's academic programmes, research capabilities, and consultancy expertise. Mormugao Port Authority, commissioned in 1888 and located on Goa's western coast at the mouth of the Zuari estuary, handles diverse cargo including iron ore, coal, liquid bulk, and general cargo.
