Implementation of Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2026 in NITI Aayog from 17th September, 2026 to 2nd October, 2026

NITI Aayog implemented the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign from 17th September to 2nd October, 2026, leading up to Swachh Bharat Diwas. Organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation to mark 12 years of the Swachh Bharat Mission under the theme "Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat," NITI Aayog undertook activities including record room inspection, file reviewing, weeding out, digitization, scrap disposal, and office-wide awareness campaigns. Staff also participated in cleanliness drives across office floors, deep cleaning of the departmental canteen, taking the Swachhta Pledge administered by the Vice Chairman, and a Shramdaan cleanliness drive on 1st October, 2026.
