From Personal Gifts to a Public Cause: Andhra Pradesh's PM Mementos Support a National Mission

The Ministry of Culture has announced that 18 mementos from Andhra Pradesh, including Kondapalli woodcraft, Kalamkari art, and commemorative gifts, are part of the PM Mementos e-Auction. These items, originally presented to the Prime Minister, showcase traditional crafts, folk art, and contemporary themes such as women's achievements and good governance. The e-auction initiative repurposes personal gifts for a public cause, with proceeds directed toward the Namami Gange programme to support the conservation and rejuvenation of the River Ganga. The e-auction has been extended until 31 October 2026.
