Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia Chairs CEO Round Table on the Future of Telecom at India Mobile Congress 2026

The Union Minister for Communications chaired a CEO Round Table titled 'The Sovereign Inflection & The Future of Telecom' during the 10th India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026. The session, held under the theme 'Scale Without Boundaries,' brought together stakeholders from telecom, digital infrastructure, and technology sectors to discuss India's transition toward an end-to-end telecom value chain. Discussions centered on the convergence of Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, and next-generation networks. The Minister emphasized India's growth as the world's second-largest telecom market and mobile phone producer, highlighting the importance of domestic innovation, semiconductor manufacturing, and a collaborative partnership between the Government and industry to ensure a resilient, globally competitive digital economy.
