Department of Telecommunications hosts High-Level Roundtable with State IT Ministers and Secretaries to Accelerate Digital Connectivity and Infrastructure Rollout

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, hosted a high-level Roundtable Conference with State IT Ministers and Secretaries on the sidelines of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026. Chaired by Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia alongside MoS Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, the meeting focused on strengthening Centre-State cooperation for digital infrastructure rollout, Right of Way (RoW) reforms under the Telecommunication (Right of Way) Rules, 2024, the National Broadband Mission 2.0, the Amended BharatNet Programme, the 4G Saturation Project, security measures through Sanchar Saathi, and the Samriddh Gram Phygital Services Initiative to achieve Viksit Bharat by 2047.
