Tata Memorial Centre, ACTREC organises Organ Donation Awareness Session under ‘Jug Jug Jiyo Abhiyan’

Tata Memorial Centre, ACTREC, organised an Organ Donation Awareness Session on 6th October, 2026, under the ‘Jug Jug Jiyo Abhiyan’. Conducted in coordination with the Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (ROTTO-SOTTO), Western Region, KEM Hospital, Mumbai, the programme aimed to raise awareness among staff, patients, and relatives about the importance of organ and tissue donation. The session, addressed by Dr. Manisha Jadhav, covered the donation process, common misconceptions, consent aspects, and legal and regulatory provisions governing organ donation and transplantation in India, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
