The National Statistics Office (NSO) Sub-Regional Office Kolhapur, under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), is conducting multiple socio-economic, industrial, and price-related surveys across the districts of Kolhapur, Sangli, and Sindhudurg in October 2026. The operations include ongoing socio-economic surveys like the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS), the Annual Survey of Unincorporated Sector Enterprises (ASUSE), surveys under the NSS 81st Round (such as the Situation Assessment Survey of Agricultural Households, All India Debt and Investment Survey, Migration Particulars Survey, and National Household Income Survey), price statistics collection for CPI and CPI-AL/RL, and industrial surveys including the Annual Survey of Incorporated Service Sector Enterprises and the Forward-Looking Survey on Private Sector CAPEX Investment Intentions.
