TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality across Fazilka city and adjoining areas (in Punjab LSA)

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released the findings of an Independent Drive Test (IDT) conducted in August 2026 across Fazilka city and adjoining areas in the Punjab License Service Area (LSA). The evaluation assessed real-time voice and data mobile network quality parameters—including coverage gaps, call drop rates, call setup success rates, packet loss, and data download and upload throughput—provided by various Telecom Service Providers (TSPs). The initiative aims to inform consumers and encourage TSPs to improve service quality.
