ICAR Consults Industry and Academic Experts on Proposed PG and Ph.D. Programmes in Natural Farming

The Agricultural Education Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) organized a stakeholder consultation meeting with industry and academic experts to discuss proposed Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes in Natural Farming. Chaired by the Secretary of DARE and Director General of ICAR, the meeting aimed to finalize multidisciplinary, competency-based, and industry-oriented curricula aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. Discussions focused on integrating biological inputs, soil health, certification, value chains, marketing, digital technologies, entrepreneurship, and conceptual clarity on chemical-free farming into the higher education framework.
