Hindi Promotion Should Be Through Creating Opportunities and Stake, Not by Imposition: Dr. Jitendra Singh
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh stated that the promotion of Hindi should be achieved by creating opportunities and stakes in the language rather than through imposition. Presiding over the third meeting of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, he emphasized that official Hindi should remain simple, accessible, and closer to everyday usage. He highlighted that technology and artificial intelligence have improved translation quality in government work. The Minister also noted that while Hindi usage has increased over the past decade, linguistic sensitivities, regional convenience, and professional competence in specialized technical fields must be respected without making language a barrier to knowledge.
