DGTS, Mumbai Organises Outreach Programme on GST for Young Minds at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mankhurd

The Directorate General of Taxpayer Services (DGTS), Mumbai Zonal Unit (under the CBIC, Ministry of Finance), organized an outreach program titled “GST for Young Minds: Understanding Taxes in Everyday Life” at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mankhurd, Mumbai. The initiative aimed to build tax awareness, promote financial literacy among students, and educate them on the basic features of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the significance of unified indirect taxation, the importance of obtaining proper tax invoices during purchases, and how public revenues contribute to infrastructure and public services.
