The Indian Parliamentary Delegation, led by Shri Harivansh, Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, continued its participation in the 153rd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Arusha, Tanzania, on October 6, 2026. Members of the delegation participated in various standing committees, workshops, and panel discussions focusing on health, democracy and human rights, peace and international security, military artificial intelligence, countering terrorism, and critical minerals. During the meetings, the Deputy Chairman exercised India's Right of Reply to respond to remarks made regarding Kashmir.
