Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda to Lead National Launch of JOSH Teams Tomorrow at Bharat Mandapam

The Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the Ministry of Defence, is launching JOSH (Joint Squad for Health) Teams to strengthen youth-led community mobilisation for the TB Mukt Bharat campaign. In its first phase, the initiative will roll out across 55 districts in 11 States. The teams will comprise Class-I Officers, MY Bharat Volunteers, and NCC Cadets to drive grassroots engagement, disseminate information on TB prevention and treatment, and address stigma. Additionally, the event features the launch of an AI-powered chatbot named Khushi Avatar to enhance public awareness and participation in national TB elimination efforts.
