IndiaAI Mission Organised AIKosh University Engagement Programme at National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh to Strengthen India's AI Talent Ecosystem

The IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), organized the AIKosh University Engagement Programme at the National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to strengthen AI awareness, democratize access to AI resources, and engage students with national AI infrastructure. Approved in March 2024, the IndiaAI Mission focuses on fostering innovation and building indigenous AI capabilities. The AIKosh platform serves as a unified data platform providing access to datasets, AI models, and toolkits. Over 160 students participated in expert sessions covering tools like the AIKosh Model Context Protocol and Software Development Kit, with subsequent phases encouraging students to contribute datasets and develop public-good AI applications.
