“Swachhata Hi Sewa-2026” campaign

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) participated in the "Swachhata Hi Seva-2026" campaign from September 17, 2026, across its offices, Autonomous Institutions, and the Survey of India. Activities included the Swachhata Pledge, Shramdaan drives at Technology Bhawan and Vigyan Sadan under the "Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath" initiative, a plantation drive, and an essay competition. Under the Safai Mitra Suraksha initiative and Shivir, the Department organized financial awareness sessions through SEBI, health check-up camps, and felicitated 110 Safai Mitras. Additional events included a special lecture on Ayurveda research and a "Kabaad Se Kala" Rangoli competition to promote waste management and employee well-being.
