HEADQUARTERS INTEGRATED DEFENCE STAFF CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF JOINTNESS AND INTEGRATION

The Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 1, 2001, in New Delhi, marking its Silver Jubilee observed as 'Tri-Service Day'. Operating under the theme "Future readiness through jointness & Integration", the celebrations featured the 'Trishakti Manthan' event with addresses by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General N. S. Raja Subramani and the CISC Air Marshal Tejinder Singh. Over the past 25 years, HQ IDS has contributed to operational preparedness, joint doctrines, integrated exercises, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), and preparation for emerging domains like Cyber, Space, and Artificial Intelligence, alongside promoting indigenous capability development and institutional mechanisms such as the Joint Commanders' Conference.
