Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya Launches Physical Education Professionals’ Module, Highlights Critical Role in Scientific Talent Identification at Grassroots

Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched the Physical Education Professionals’ Module under the National Sports Repository System (NSRS). The initiative aims to create a nationwide, comprehensive repository of Physical Education (PE) teachers within a six-month timeframe. The module seeks to map the qualifications, skills, and specialisations of PE teachers in schools and colleges to support scientific talent identification and systematic development at the grassroots level. The Union Minister emphasized leveraging PE teachers as primary identifiers of sporting potential and called for district-, state-, and national-level campaigns and structuring to enhance the sports ecosystem in the country.
