Raksha Mantri Launches Key Digital and Financial Management Initiatives at Defence Accounts Department’s 279th Annual Day Celebration in New Delhi

During the 279th Annual Day celebrations of the Defence Accounts Department (DAD), the Raksha Mantri launched several digital and financial management initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency, automation, and integration within the defence sector. Key launches included the integration of DAD's SAKSHAM system with the Indian Army Financial Information System, the inauguration of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) system for Just-In-Time release of funds to autonomous bodies via the PRISM platform, and the revamped National Compilation System (NCS) for tracking defence expenditure. Additionally, the event highlighted the SAMAR-SETU application for managing Agniveer pay accounts and initiatives like SPARSH for defence pensions.
