Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Organises Shramdaan under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare organised a voluntary cleanliness drive (shramdaan) under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' campaign in New Delhi. Led by Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary of the Department of Health Research and Director General of the ICMR, along with other senior officials and staff, the event emphasized the theme 'Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath'. The campaign highlights public participation (Jan Bhagidari), collective responsibility, and the linkage between sustained cleanliness, responsible waste management, and public health.
