Shri Narendra Bhooshan assumes charge as Secretary of Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change

Shri Narendra Bhooshan, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has assumed charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. He previously served as Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has held various administrative assignments across central and state governments in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, industry, agriculture, urban development, finance, and land-resource management.
