DGTS, Mumbai Zonal Unit Organises Outreach Programme on GST and Economic Integration at Goa University

The Directorate General of Taxpayer Services (DGTS), Mumbai Zonal Unit, under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, organized an outreach programme on GST and economic integration at Goa University. Conducted in association with Goa Business School and the Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy, the event featured discussions on GST frameworks, compliance simplification, trade barrier reduction, and digital tax administration. Similar student outreach initiatives were also held at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. According to the release, DGTS has conducted or participated in 54 outreach programmes since April 2026 to promote taxpayer awareness and voluntary compliance.
