BSNL to Celebrate 27th Foundation Day on October 1

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a 100 per cent Government of India-owned Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Telecommunications, is celebrating its 27th Foundation Day on October 1, 2026. Established in 2000, BSNL provides mobile, Bharat Fiber FTTH broadband, fixed-line, and enterprise services across the country. The organization has contributed to expanding telecom infrastructure in rural, remote, and strategic areas, and implementing national initiatives like BharatNet. Regionally, the BSNL Nagpur Business Area in Vidarbha has upgraded its telecom infrastructure, deploying optical fibers and rolling out 4G services to meet evolving user requirements.
