From Financial Assistance to Self-Reliance

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment highlighted the journey of Smt. Kavita Verma from Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, towards economic self-reliance through the NSFDC Refinance Scheme. Facing limited financial resources in her aspiration to establish a sustainable livelihood, she received financial assistance of Rs. 3,42,000 in 2024 through Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank to set up a flour mill (atta chakki). This timely financial support enabled her to successfully start and operate her business, creating a sustainable income source and strengthening her family's economic condition.
