Defence Accounts Department to Celebrate 279th Annual Day

The Defence Accounts Department (DAD) is scheduled to celebrate its 279th Annual Day in New Delhi on October 1, 2026. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will attend the celebrations to launch several IT initiatives, including the integration of the Indian Army Financial Information System (IAFIS) with the SAKSHAM platform, the revamped National Compilation System (NCS), and the Payment Routing and Integrated System Management (PRISM) Platform. He will also release publications such as the Comprehensive Statistical Handbook on Defence Expenditure (COSHE) 2026, Raksha Lekha Bharati, and the Market Intelligence Report 2025-2026, alongside conferring the Raksha Mantri Awards for Excellence 2026 and showcasing a short film on the SPARSH pension system.
