Union Minister of Coal & Mines Shri G. Kishan Reddy reviewed Coal India Limited's preparations for Special Campaign 6, focusing on institutionalizing Swachhata, resolving pendency, and accelerating 'Waste to Wealth' and e-waste management. Conducted alongside the Secretary (Coal), Chairman CIL, and subsidiary CMDs, the review highlighted preparatory initiatives including a cleanliness awareness walkathon and street plays by South Eastern Coalfields Limited. Furthermore, the Ministry of Coal, Coal India Limited, and coal PSUs have identified 1,565 sites for cleaning from October 2 to October 31, while nearly 60,000 physical and e-files have been marked for review to enhance governance and transparency.
