Safaimitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir To Be Organised Tomorrow Under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is organising the SafaiMitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir under the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign. Held under the theme 'Samman Safai Mitron Ka, Sankalp Swachh Bharat Ka', the hybrid event aims to recognise sanitation workers and facilitate their access to health, safety, and social protection measures. The Shivir acts as a single-window platform providing preventive health check-ups, PPE kits, NAMASTE ID cards, and linkages to various central welfare schemes such as PMAY, Ayushman Bharat, PM-JAY, and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana. The event also includes the screening of a film on the NAMASTE scheme and a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan pledge.
