From Recovery to Self-Reliance

An individual from Banka, Bihar, received rehabilitation and support services under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) through the Drug De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) in Banka. The intervention included detoxification, medical treatment, individual and family counselling, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention support. Following these services, the individual demonstrated improvements in health, emotional well-being, behavioural changes, and occupational functioning through a fruit-selling business, moving towards self-reliance and stability.
