Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh is scheduled to launch the Livestock Insurance Portal in New Delhi on 28th September 2026. Developed by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), the integrated digital platform aims to streamline policy issuance, claim processing, monitoring, and reporting under the Livestock Insurance Scheme. To enhance accessibility, the portal will operate in 11 regional languages alongside Hindi and English. The initiative seeks to introduce transparency, efficiency, and technology-driven risk protection to support livestock farmers and their livelihoods.
