Goa Shipyard records Strong Financial Performance in FY 2025-26

Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, reported its financial and operational performance for FY 2025-26 during its 60th Annual General Meeting. GSL's total revenue crossed ₹4,000 crore, Profit Before Tax rose 17% to ₹442 crore, and its order book exceeded ₹13,000 crore, with expectations to reach approximately ₹32,400 crore following a new contract with the Navy. Key milestones included its elevation to 'Schedule A' CPSE status, execution of projects for the Indian Navy and Coast Guard (such as the delivery of ICGS Samudra Pratap), growth in export turnover, and increased focus on indigenous procurement and CSR initiatives.
