PBSHABD

PBSHABD is a free multimedia news feed service launched by Prasar Bharati on 13 March 2024. Operating under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the platform provides registered media organisations with text, video, audio, photographs, and infographics across 15 Indian languages and nearly 50 news categories. Originally functioning strictly as an internal news wire for Akashvani and Doordarshan under the Prasar Bharati News Service (PBNS), the service was expanded to support the wider media industry. Content carries no Prasar Bharati logo or mandatory credit line. Free access has been extended up to March 2027, currently serving 3,600 media organisations supported by a nationwide network of reporters and dedicated editorial desks.
