MCL Targets 10 Lakh Sq. Ft. Clean-Up under Special Campaign 6.0

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has announced its preparations for Special Campaign 6.0, targeting the clean-up of over 10 lakh square feet of area across its offices, colonies, and establishments. This marks an increase from the 6.12 lakh square feet covered during the previous campaign. Aligned with the Government of India’s initiative scheduled from October 2 to October 31, 2026, the campaign focuses on institutionalising Swachhata, improving workplace management, optimising space, reducing pendency, and managing waste. A key focus area for MCL is the scientific management, segregation, and systematic disposal of e-waste alongside clearing obsolete materials.
