7th High-Level Meeting of the OPEC-India Energy Dialogue

The Seventh High-Level Meeting of the OPEC-India Energy Dialogue was held on 22nd September 2026 in New Delhi, co-chaired by India’s Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, and OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais. Discussions centered on oil market stability, energy security, and adequate investment across the oil industry, while reviewing short-, medium-, and long-term outlooks. Both sides emphasized India's role as a major driver of global energy demand. The dialogue, launched in 2015, underscored producer-consumer collaboration to ensure reliable supplies amidst geopolitical uncertainties. The next meeting is scheduled in Vienna, Austria.
