Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia inspects site identified for Telecom Manufacturing Zone in Gwalior along with Secretary, Department of Telecommunications and senior officials

Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia inspected the site identified for Asia's first Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) at SADA, Gwalior, along with senior officials. Established through an MoU between the Department of Telecommunications and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, the TMZ aims to create a complete industrial ecosystem across approximately 170 acres in its first phase. Around 24 companies have initiated the application process, proposing an investment of approximately ₹5,500 crore and the creation of over 18,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities. The project is supported by incentive packages from both the central and state governments, including a proposed Common Testing Lab package of approximately ₹500 crore.
