Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation Shri Murlidhar Mohol addressed the inauguration ceremony of the new Head Office of Shri Beereshwar Co-operative Credit Society Limited in Belagavi, Karnataka, on its 36th Foundation Day. During the event, the Minister highlighted the government's focus on 'Sahkar se Samriddhi' and detailed various initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Cooperation. Key measures mentioned include the computerisation of nearly 80,000 PACS worth Rs 3,000 crore, the creation of three national-level Multi-State Cooperative Societies joined by nearly 70,000 institutions, the establishment of the NUCFDC umbrella organisation for Urban Cooperative Banks, the 'Sahkar Sarathi' platform for Rural Cooperative Banks, and the launch of 'Tribhuvan' Sahkari University to train human resources for the sector.
