Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurates International Conference on ‘The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics’ in New Delhi; Releases NGT Mobile Application

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Green Tribunal's two-day International Conference on 'The Future of Environment and Climate Dynamics' in New Delhi and released the NGT Mobile Application. The event brought together global stakeholders, jurists, policymakers, and international organizations from 17 countries to deliberate on collaborative environmental action. During the inaugural sessions, dignitaries discussed India's environmental jurisprudence, judicial recognition of environmental rights, renewable energy achievements—such as non-fossil sources reaching 54.18 percent of installed capacity—forest and tree cover expansion, and climate action anchored in equity, implementation, and sustainable development.
