Union MoS Raksha Khadse chairs district review meetings in Saitual and Kolasib; reviews development priorities, sports and youth engagement

The Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports chaired district-level review meetings in Saitual and Kolasib during a visit to Mizoram in September 2026. The discussions focused on grassroots sports, youth engagement, substance-abuse prevention under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, agriculture, organic produce supply linkages, infrastructure, and healthcare. Key administrative and developmental priorities were evaluated, including road connectivity, the functioning of Krishi Vigyan Kendras, cooperatives, the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), and the mobilisation of youth through the MY Bharat platform.
