Ministry of Steel Launches Special Campaign 6.0 with Focus on effective collection, segregation and disposal of e-waste.

The Ministry of Steel and its Public Sector Undertakings are participating in Special Campaign 6.0 from October 2 to October 31, 2026, preceded by a preparatory phase from September 15 to 30, 2026. The campaign focuses on cleanliness, sustainability, efficient governance, and specifically highlights the effective collection, segregation, and disposal of e-waste as per the E-waste (Management) Rules, 2022. Other priority areas include mechanised cleaning practices, timely disposal of pending administrative references and old files, and digital awareness outreach. The initiative builds upon the outcomes of Special Campaign 5.0 held in October 2025.
