Shri Manohar Lal Participates in G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial Meeting; Addresses Ministerial Sessions and Holds Bilateral Meetings with the United States and Canada

Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, participated in the G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial Meeting in Houston on September 15, 2026. He addressed ministerial sessions under Pillar 1 (Energy Security and Affordable Baseload) and Pillar 2 (Permitting and Regulatory Efficiency), highlighting India's 552 GW installed capacity, non-fossil share exceeding 50%, and digital platforms like the National Single Window System, PARIVESH, and PM Gati Shakti. Additionally, he held bilateral meetings with representatives from the United States and Canada to discuss clean energy, nuclear expansion, data center power infrastructure, and the Samundra Manthan scheme.
