COAS GENERAL DHIRAJ SETH EMBARKS ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO RUSSIA

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Dhiraj Seth is undertaking an official visit to Russia from 16 to 18 September 2026 to strengthen India-Russia defence cooperation and military-to-military ties. During the visit, his engagements in Moscow include receiving a ceremonial Guard of Honour, paying tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, holding bilateral discussions with Colonel General Andrei Nikolayevich Mordvichev, and visiting the National Defence Control Centre. He is also scheduled to interact with Russian Ministry of Defence officials, including Deputy Minister Vasily Sergeyevich Osmakov, and travel to Saint Petersburg to visit the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy.
