Postal Employee Organisations hail the Government for 'reinventing' India Post , thank PM Modi for turning it into a Modern, Citizen-Centric Service Network

Representatives of All India employee organisations of the Department of Posts met Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh to discuss service delivery, employee issues, and the transformation of India Post. The employee representatives thanked the government for reinventing India Post into a modern, citizen-centric network providing faster delivery, Aadhaar-related facilities, PAN and Passport Seva services, doorstep banking, and digital pension services. Dr Jitendra Singh highlighted the postal network's extensive last-mile reach, the evolving role of the postman in delivering banking and financial services in rural areas, and the crucial support provided by postal employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The delegation also presented various employee, organisational, and pensioner-related matters to the Minister.
