Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated the ‘Ganesh Gyanarthi Exhibition’ organised by the Asiatic Society of Mumbai. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the significance of preserving India's traditional knowledge, history, and cultural heritage, linking the institution's rare manuscripts to the Gyan Bharatam National Manuscript Mission. He discussed the process of decolonization from an Indian perspective, noting that it involves presenting authentic historical truths rather than erasing history. The Union Government assured continued support and cooperation to the Asiatic Society of Mumbai for expanding its knowledge repositories, digitizing records, and promoting indigenous research.
