The Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation will address the inaugural session of Hindi Diwas 2026 and the 6th All India Official Language Conference in Mumbai, organized by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The two-day event features the presentation of the 'Rajbhasha Gaurav' and 'Rajbhasha Kirti' Awards for 2025–26, the launch of various publications including a special issue of 'Rajbhasha Bharati' centered on 'Vande Mataram', and discussions on the role of Town Official Language Implementation Committees (TOLICs/NARAKAS). The event highlights constitutional provisions regarding the official language and coordination among Indian languages.
