Shri Kiren Rijiju distributes shields and prizes to the winners of 27th National Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju distributed shields and prizes to the winners of the 27th National Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium in New Delhi. PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ukhrul-1, Manipur (Shillong Region) secured the national first place, receiving the 'Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Running Parliamentary Shield'. Seven other Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas were awarded as regional winners. The competition, organised by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for the past 30 years, aims to acquaint students with parliamentary procedures, discussion techniques, and democratic values.
